Custom Eye Surgery

A natural eye look tailored 1:1 that doesn't look obvious.

Custom Eye Surgery

Not big eyes, but
Clear impressionmakes

Because the eyes are the most important feature of the face, double eyelid surgery is tricky. This is because, rather than simply creating bigger eyes, it is often done to achieve a beautiful and well-defined impression.

Therefore, it is necessary to consider the overall balance of the face, including the size and shape of the eyes, pupil size, muscle strength, and skin condition, to choose the most appropriate method and shape.

Eyelid Lines

Double eyelids Line

Even with the same eyes, if the shape of the double eyelid changes, the eyes will give off a completely different feel.

Inline

Inline

A narrow line that starts from the inside and continues low. It looks natural and is barely noticeable.

In-out line

In-out line

A medium type that starts from the inside and widens toward the outside. It is the most commonly chosen.

Outline

Outline

A wide, distinct line starting above the inner corner of the eye. A clear and glamorous impression.

Non-incision

Buried-suture method

This is a method of creating a double eyelid without incisions by making micro-holes along the intended eyelid line and passing a needle and thread through them. It leaves no surgical scars and has minimal swelling, allowing it to look natural quickly. By connecting the eyelid-lifting muscle and the skin with a very fine thread, the skin is pulled up together as the eyelid lifts, creating a double eyelid.

  • If the eyelids are thin and have little fat
  • Cases where the amount of eyelid fat is not significant
  • When there is a double eyelid on only one side or both sides are asymmetrical
  • If you have double eyelids and want to make them slightly larger

Buried suture technique surgery procedure

  1. STEP 01Before surgery

The double eyelid line is almost nonexistent.

  2. STEP 02Creation of fine holes

Make about 3 tiny holes in the eyelid.

  3. STEP 03Line generation

Meticulous suturing creates the double eyelid line.

  4. STEP 04Complete

A clear and natural eye shape is completed without scarring.

Incision

Incisional method

This method involves making an incision along the desired line, allowing for precise surgery as it enables direct visualization of the inner eyelid structure. Through the incision, thick eyelid fat can be removed, improving the puffy and heavy appearance of the eyes. It is suitable for those with sagging skin or thick muscle and fat layers.

  • If you also want ptosis correction (eye shape correction)
  • If you have ptosis and want bigger eyes
  • In cases of sagging skin or thick eyelids
  • Cases where you have double eyelids, but they sometimes come undone

  1. STEP 01Incision line design

Design an incision line on the eyelid.

  2. STEP 02Fat removal

After removing the fat, suture the levator palpebrae superioris muscle and the dermis.

  3. STEP 03Line closure

Meticulous suturing creates the double eyelid line.

  4. STEP 04Complete

A clear and natural eye shape is created.

Partial Incision

Partial-incision method

This method leaves less swelling and scarring because the incision is much smaller than that of the full incision method. Although the buried suture method is difficult due to thick fat, a natural line can be created while removing an appropriate amount of fat through a tiny 2–3 mm incision. If you need a small amount of fat and muscle removed, but are worried that the buried suture method might come undone, the partial incision method is a good option.

  • Cases where the non-incisional (buried suture) method is unsuitable due to fat or muscle
  • If the double eyelid came undone after non-incisional surgery
  • If you want a stronger fixation than the buried suture method
  • If you feel burdened by making a complete incision in the eyelid

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

QDoesn't the non-incisional method come undone?

For those with thin eyelids and little fat, the buried suture method can last a long time. If you have thick eyelid fat or are worried about the fold coming undone, the partial incision or full incision method is recommended. The method will be determined after examining the condition of your eyelids during the consultation.

QWhich line suits me?

It depends on the length of the eyes, the exposure of the pupils, the distance from the eyebrows, and the desired impression. The in-fold (tapered) looks natural, the out-fold (parallel) looks distinct and defined, and the in-out-fold is somewhere in between. We will decide together through simulation and consultation.

QHow long is the recovery period?

The buried suture method results in less swelling and looks natural in 3 to 5 days, while for the incision method, swelling subsides over 1 to 2 weeks after suture removal (day 5). Daily activities are usually possible after 5 to 7 days.
